Garden Planning

First consultation

The collaboration begins with an initial consultation and a site visit. This is primarily about understanding your specific needs and how you intend to use your balcony, patio and/or garden. This meeting will help me gain a better perspective of your situation. From here, a brief will be created and sent to you for review, outlining your goals for the space, my fee structure and the next steps in the design process.

Concept design

In order to create an accurate plan for your balcony, patio and/or garden, a survey (of the site) is required. This could be done by me or by you. Once the measurements have been properly taken, I will work with you to create collages and layout concepts that will later be developed into your preferred design.

Master plan

Once you have decided on a concept, it's time to turn the concept into a master plan. This contains details of all the elements, lighting and the outlined planting palette. I create the master plan in both 2D and 3D graphics. This will give you a feel for the space. I will also provide you with technical drawings of all the elements or other structures to be realized.

Design with plants

During this phase of work, I will work with you to refine the master plan so that you link colors, textures and style to a carefully selected plant theme. I will include the care plan, seasonal calendar (bloom calendar), detailed plant lists and color palettes for your newly designed situation. During the planning stage, I make sure that I comply with local and national regulations regarding invasive or protected species.

Realization

After the master plan and planting plans are finalized, it's time to build the balcony, patio or garden of your dreams. I will gather all the materials and create a tender document that I will send to contractors to quote for the work. You can also hire a contractor of your choice. When the building work starts, we can check throughout the building process to make sure everything is going as planned. It's entirely up to you how involved you want me to be. I take the lead when it comes to ordering, delivering and professionally planting the plants.

Exclusive private floristry and botany workshop for two

Individual. In-depth. Personal - in your own home.

This workshop is an invitation to consciously spend time together - far away from everyday life, close to nature.

In my exclusive 1:2 private workshop, I devote myself entirely to you both. A calm, creative atmosphere is created in your home, where we immerse ourselves in the world of flowers and plants together. I bring carefully selected, seasonal natural materials with me and transform your table into a botanical workshop full of inspiration.

During the workshop, we will create two floral arrangements – each person will design their own piece. Whether natural pieces or loosely tied bouquets: we work with fresh flowers and seasonal materials and value harmonious, natural designs.

My in-depth botanical knowledge flows naturally into this process. You will learn exciting facts about plant characteristics, origins, seasonality, and natural connections.

In addition, you can expect a little botanical specialty - a special insight, a piece of specialist plant knowledge, or a surprising detail from the world of botany that makes this workshop unique.

An exclusive floral and botanical experience for selected guests.

This signature experience begins with the creation of a tranquil floral arrangement that accompanies the room throughout the entire stay. It is deliberately designed to remain fresh, harmonious, and stable for the entire duration—creating a subtle atmosphere.

At the same time, guests create a botanical object in a simple wooden frame. This object is timeless, durable, and travel-friendly and can be easily taken with them – even in a carry-on luggage on a flight. While the floral arrangement carries the moment, the framed botanical object creates a lasting memento. An object that is not decorative in the classic sense, but calm, minimalist, and deliberately designed.

The experience is individually guided, unhurried, and deliberately personal—as a 1:1 or 1:2 session. The focus is on flowers, materials, form, meaning, and perception.
